Yes. Used as directed, Clorox® Scented Bleach shouldn’t pose hazards to your pets, children or pregnant women. In general, it's a good idea to remove pets and children from an area when cleaning it and to follow label precautionary instructions. When out of use, as with many household cleaners, you should keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Yes. When used as directed, Clorox® Scented Bleach is safe to use in septic systems. The bleach breaks down rapidly to mostly salt and water.
No. We don’t recommend mixing Clorox® Scented Bleach with other household chemicals, since toxic fumes could result.

Clorox will be letting consumers know about the change in a variety of ways. The bottle label will have a yellow banner indicating the new concentrated formula. In many stores there will be additional signage. In addition, we will be letting consumers know via our website.
Our scented bleaches are not registered disinfectants. If you need a registered disinfectant, you can purchase Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach at almost any store that sells laundry products. Make sure that "Disinfects" or "Kills germs" appears on the label.
