Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upset the Splash-less bleach does not disinfect I have been using Clorox products for YEARS. Clorox to me is synonymous with disinfecting and is THE Bleach of choice. ANYWHERE you look on the Internet, for disinfecting they say to mix bleach and water. I just recently purchased Clorox Splash-less bleach, thinking, "Let's give it a try. I do have some bleach stains on my "cleaning clothes" . Same packaging as the bleach I have always used. I related "splash-less" to spout design or thickening of the product, with no change in its chemical structure. I used it to disinfect an entire cottage (I guess that was a waste of time). I then used it to disinfect my jet tub. The bubbles were very hard to get rid of. At that point, I decided I may have a defective bottle. I looked on the back for a phone number r and at the very top in very small print it says "Not for sanitation or disinfection. To sanitize or disinfect use Clorox Regular Bleach". That in itself is confusing since the front label says #1 Bleach in America and next to the word "Splash-less" it says Regular (which now, I assume means the scent). There are 3 large font lines that say "No Splash Formula; 10X Deep Cleaning Benefits; Whitens, Brightens and Deodorizes. " and a large section that says "Cleaning and laundry tips" I'm not a package designer, but there seems to be plenty of room to add a large font "Does not sanitize or disinfect". There are many other comments here regarding this same issue. The packaging is confusing. It says on the front "10x Deep Cleaning Benefits", I think, "Wow, it's 10X stronger at disinfecting". I WILL continue to use the Clorox brand. I have used it for MANY years with great satisfaction. However I now have two 116 ounce bottles of this and will need to purchase additional bottles of Regular Clorox. Thank you. Looking forward to your response.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for clothes washer cleaning cycle I've had excess suds and water overflow from my clothes washer after using the cleaning cycle with bleach. Thought the problem was a buildup of suds and changed detergents; still had problems during cleaning cycle. Had a $75 bill for an appliance repairman who found nothing wrong. I just figured out the problem--Chlorox Spash-Less has detergent that causes massive suds during the washer cleaning cycle. I shall never use Chlorox again. I will go back to using generic bleach that contains just bleach. I can add my own detergent if I ever need it. At the very least, the product label should say that it contains detergent and to not use in clothes washer cleaning cycles. I expected better from Chlorox.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm confused So there is all this talk of clorox splashless not being a disinfectant but on this website it it listed under the "disinfecting" group of products and it says is kills 99.9% of germs. So is this a disinfectant or not?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice scent and texture This was my first time using Clorox splash-less or scented bleach. I never realized there could be such a big difference between splashless and regular bleach. Pouring the bleach was much less stressful as it had thicker consistency and I wasn’t afraid it was going to, well, splash out on me! The lemons scent is nice and not overpowering. I use bleach to clean lots of different things in and around my house. For instance, my concrete which turns green during winter or after lots of rain. With this bleach I was able to pour it exactly where I wanted it and spread it around with my cleaning brush and I was able to use much less bleach than I normally would. Overall, I am very happy with this product and will be purchasing in the near future!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from questionable.... My regular store stopped carrying the 'nonconcentrated" version of Clorox. The new version just doesn't seem to whiten as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well This bleach is very effective and it's nice that it has a thicker formula. This makes it easier to pour without accidentally spilling or splashing. It's not ideal for certain types of laundry, but it works well for most bleach purposes.
