How to use Germicidal Bleach | Unscented
For general disinfecting and deodorizing hard, nonporous surfaces:
- Pre-wash surface.
- Mop or wipe with bleach solution. Refer to your product label for dosing instructions.
- Allow solution to contact surface for at least 6 minutes. Rinse well and let air dry.

Yes. Used as directed, Clorox™ Germicidal Bleach shouldn’t pose hazards to your pets, children or pregnant women. In general, it's a good idea to remove pets and children from an area when cleaning it and to follow label precautionary instructions. When out of use, as with many household cleaners, you should keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Yes. When used as directed, Clorox™ Germicidal Bleach is safe to use in septic systems. The bleach breaks down rapidly to mostly salt and water.
No. We don’t recommend mixing Clorox™ Germicidal Bleach with other household chemicals, since toxic fumes could result.
