How to Remove Pumpkin Stains from Clothes

Whether you're enjoying pumpkin pie or carving a pumpkin, follow these stain removal steps to learn how to get pumpkin stains out of clothes and off surfaces.

Scrub

Quickly scrub the fresh stain and rinse in cool water.

Soak

Soak the item in cool water with liquid detergent for at least 30 minutes.

Pre-Treat

No trick, just pre-treat with Clorox 2^® For Colors Stain Remover and Laundry Additive. Rub in gently 5–10 mins. Do not allow to dry on the fabric.

Wash

Wash it immediately on the hottest recommended setting with detergent and ⅓ cup Clorox^® Disinfecting Bleach for bleach-safe whites or Clorox 2^® For Colors Stain Remover and Laundry Additive for colors or white items with spandex.

Five

Dry

Inspect your garment, if stain remains, soak again and repeat the process before machine drying.

Always check that the stain is gone before drying as it could further set the stain.
