How to Get Lipstick Stains Out of Clothes
Lipstick stains are oil-based, brightly colored, and impossible to hide. Follow these lipstick stain removal tips to learn how to get lipstick out of clothes.
Place a clean dry cloth under the stain with the stain facing down. With another cloth, dab (don’t rub) the back of the stain with dish detergent, pushing it through the item, picking up the lipstick and transferring it onto the first cloth. Repeat until no more lipstick transfers with the dish detergent onto the cloth.
Repeat as needed, and make sure to check that stain is gone before tumble drying. XOXO bye-bye stain!
First, remove excess lipstick.
Wipe surface clean with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes1.
Rinse with water. The lipstick looks better on you.
