How to Get Chocolate Ice Cream Out of Clothes

Ice cream is delicious but can get messy when it's dripping on your clothes. Learn how to remove chocolate ice cream stains from clothing and surfaces.

Remove
Don’t waffle. Quickly remove as much ice cream as possible by rinsing with cool water.

Soak
Soak garment for at least 30 minutes in a mixture of cool water and a detergent containing enzymes.

Wash
Launder with your favorite flavor of detergent in warm water. For whites, add ⅓ cup Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach or Clorox 2® For Colors Stain Remover and Laundry Additive for colors or white items with spandex.
Tip

Pre-soaking using a detergent with enzymes helps soften and release the milk protein.

Wipe
