How to Get Chocolate Ice Cream Out of Clothes

Laundry

Remove
Don’t waffle. Quickly remove as much ice cream as possible by rinsing with cool water.

Soak
Soak garment for at least 30 minutes in a mixture of cool water and a detergent containing enzymes.

Three
Wash
Launder with your favorite flavor of detergent in warm water. For whites, add ½ cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX® to the wash or Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster for colors.
Tip

Pre-soaking using a detergent with enzymes helps soften and release the milk protein.

Remove excess ice cream.

Wipe
Wipe surface clean with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes1. For stuck-on stains, try Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Micro-Scrubbers.

Rinse
Rinse with water.
