How to clean siding with Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach

(Wood surfaces must be sealed.)

  1. Prep

    Wear old clothes, shoes and rubber gloves.

  2. Mix

    Pour ⅓ cup of Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach into 1 gallon of water in a plastic bucket or container.

  3. Scrub (A)

    Apply bleach solution using a brush or broom on horizontal surfaces, and a sponge or mop on vertical surfaces.

  4. Scrub

    Heavily soiled surfaces may require additional scrubbing.

  5. Wait

    Wait 6 minutes for disinfecting.

  6. Rinse

    Rinse thoroughly using a garden hose with a spray nozzle.

How to clean siding with Clorox® Outdoor Bleach

(Wood surfaces must be sealed.)

    Fill a  plastic bucket with 1 gallon of cool water, then add 1-1/2 cups Clorox® Outdoor Bleach.

  3. Scrub (A)

    Apply bleach solution using a brush or broom on horizontal surfaces, and a sponge or mop on vertical surfaces.

  4. Scrub (B)

    Heavily soiled surfaces may require additional scrubbing.

  5. Wait

    Wait up to 15 minutes.

  6. Rinse

    Rinse thoroughly using a garden hose with a spray nozzle.

  7. Dry

    Let air dry.
