What you need

Steps for cleaning plastic shower curtains

  1. Remove the curtains

    Take the shower curtains and/or liners off of the rod.

    Tip

    Polyester and nylon are both safe for bleach.

  2. Add bleach to washing machine

    Pour 1/3 cup Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach into the bleach dispenser (or fill to the max-fill line)

    Tip

    For a standard washing machine, use 1/2 cup of bleach.

  3. Machine wash on hot

    Select a hot wash temperature and add a little detergent.

  4. Hang to air dry

    Dry your curtains and liners by hanging them back onto the curtain rod.
