How to Get Mud Stains Out of Clothes

Dislodge
Remove excess dirt or mud, and then rinse with water. It’s a dirty job.

Pre-treat
Use Clorox® Stain Remover & Color Booster. Rub in gently 5–10 mins. Do not allow to dry. For whites: Pre-soak in warm water with powder detergent for 1 hour.

Three
Wash
Wash with detergent adding Clorox® Stain Remover & Color Booster to your colors or Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX® to a load of whites.
Tip

Do Try allowing the mud to dry thoroughly before cleaning to prevent smearing.

Surfaces

Pre-wash
Pre-wash surface.
Two
Wipe
Wipe with a solution of ½ cup of Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach per gallon of water. Allow solution to contact surface for 5 minutes.
Three
Rinse
Rinse well and air-dry.
