Tips on How to Clean a Sponge

Try not to use sponges to clean up after raw meat, poultry or eggs. Instead, use a disposable paper towel and a solution of Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner + Bleach as directed.

Sanitize sponges and dish towels daily in the sink using ½ cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 to a gallon of water. Let soak 5 minutes. Rinse and dry.
