Incidental bowl water ingestion from a toilet cleaned with the product should not be a problem. However, it is not recommended that toilet water be used as a source of drinking water for pets. If a pet ingests tablet or large quantities of toilet bowl water containing the cleaner, it is recommended to follow up with your veterinarian.

Each tablet sanitizes the toilet bowl water in 5 minutes for up to 2 months and cleans and deodorizes for up to 3 months (based on 10 flushes per day). There are, however, many variations in toilets and water that cause tablets to last for different time periods.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damage the seals on the toilet I bought the tablets at our local Mejier and thought they would fix the stains that build out in our toilet bowls. I placed them in the tanks after draining them it said to, and for the first couple weeks they were great and I loved them. We have 4 bathrooms and put one in each tank. Then last week I noticed a damp spot near the toilet (yes we have carpet in a bathroom). At first I thought it was water from taking showers, but never dried. So today we had a plumber come in and found that the bleach causes damage to the seals ad causes them to leak, and that lead to damage to our floors. There is no warning here on the website and I didn't see one on the packages. Now we have a plumbers bill and have to brig someone in to look at the floor damage. I suggest that you don't buy this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined flush valve on 2 toikets The chemicals ate away the flapper washer on my 2 Porcher toilets causing major. Won't use these again. You probably shouldn't either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged rubber seal and hardware in toilet tank I’ve had the Clorox toilet bowl cleaners in 3 of my toilets for several months. I just had to have the seal and all the hardware in one tank replaced in one of the toilets. The plumber said it was caused the Clorox pucks eating away at the material. It dissolved metal!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Destroyed Toilet I saw this at Costco and it looked like a good idea. Shortly after starting its use with a new TOTO I noticed that it had dissolved the gaskets in the tank, which was starting to leak. I immediately discontinued use, but shortly the flapper warped and the toilet started running constantly. One of the maintenance crew in the building looked it over while replacing the flapper, and said the toilet will have to be completely rebuilt, replacing all the parts within the tank. Seems like rather a shame, and a waste of time and money, especially on a unit that was almost new. I notice there are mostly positive reviews dating from seven years ago--was the product reformulated in the interim?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy We have been using this product for a couple of years. Today I noticed an issue with one of our toilets. I removed the cover on the tank. The tank was full of a yellow glue like substance that covered the tank, float, and flapper valve. The float was stuck causing the water to run continuously. The other toilet had the same issue just not as bad. After extensive time consuming cleanup, I was able to get the toilets working again. I don't recommend buying this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined pol seal on toilet tank flap, caused leakin We used this product in two of our three toilets that had a buildup of mold inside the tanks. We followed the directions precisely, trusting the statement that it was safe fo the toilet tank equipment. While the product did a great job of cleaning the mold out of our toilet tanks, it destroyed the seal on the toilet tank flaps. Blisters formed along the edge of the ring seals, allowing water to continuously leak into the toilet bowl. This did not occur in the toilet where we did not use the product. We have replaced the seals to the tune of $14. I do not recommend the product and will use vinegar to hand scrub the tank in the future. I have a photo of the ring damage but there is no way to post it here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tablets Get into drain when they get to a small size Tablets work great but when the tablet gets small, it will flush down the drain part of the tank and cause the toilet not to flush in smoe cases for days until the tablet is completely gone. Is there some kind of holder that will prevent this from happening?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clorox Tablets destroy gaskets Don't use this product unless you are seriously interested in frequently replacing toilet flapper valves and other gaskets. It destroys them. This helps to keep plumbers in business. Within months of use I had to replace the flappers in 3 highly rated new Toto toilets. No problems before and none since-Stay away from this!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tablet fell apart not working as described Bought 2 boxes through Amazon Clorox Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, 3.5 Ounces, 8 Count for $14.56. I've used once and notice as others have said that the tablet was broken. I'm concerned about it jamming the toilet stopper. I don't notice any difference in the need to clean the bowl. I see a brown line across the water line. I don't like the odor. It smells bad not at all clean smelling. I can't return the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed We too loved this toilet bowl cleaning tablet until we had one gasket start leaking and then noticed deteriorated gasket parts in other toilets ( black crumbs). We need to have all gaskets and seals replaced to avoid costly leaks. We have had to replace our flappers several times over the past couple of years - now the gaskets are deteriorating. You shouldn't sell a product that destroys the items without fully advising a customer on the front of the package!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My bathroom saving grace! I had constant iron issues with all four of the toilets in the house, and was seriously considering purchasing an expensive iron filter. The toilet rims and bowls required cleaning every several days due to the iron levels. I happened to see these tablets and thought I would give them a try, and so happy that I did. It is night and day!! There are no further issues with the iron flakes in the rim and the bowls stay nice and clean. THANK YOU -- THANK YOU!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cost me a pretty hefty plumbing bill I am an avid Clorox product user and am typically happy with the products. However, I purchased a faulty tablet as it did not dissolve and it got stuck underneath the boot of the tank causing the toilet not to flush properly until the plumber removed the toilet to find the undissolved tablet. I will not be purchasing this product anymore. I'm pretty disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disintegrated the seal and bolts on my toilet tank I’ve been using tablets for years. 3 of my toilets started dripping at the tank bolts. Upon inspection, all toilets had bolts that had disintegrated and rubber gaskets were nonexistent. Costly repairs to fix them

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water started leaking in after using this Put these tablets into 3 of the commodes and then after 2 weeks water started to leak in and wont stop filling with water. We investigated the issue and saw all of the flappers started to warp leaking water back into the bowl.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Home Almost Flooded I have used this product for about 12 months. Last evening flush water leaked out I from the toilet tank. It was lucky that we were home so that we could switch off the water supply immediately. The float valve assembly was found broken off. The part immersed in water was bleached to white color and severely corroded. I paid US$95 to the plumber for replacing the float valve assembly. There is not any warning in the packaging that this product may cause damage to polymer fittings inside the toilet tank. I have just gone through reviews of this product and noticed that you have received quite a number of similar reviews but I do not see you have taken any action on the issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Drop Ins Drop Out The last five or so times I purchased this product, one or two of the tablets were shattered. The increased surface area causes a higher concentration of bleach in the tank which causes more rapid deterioration of the flush mechanism. It also causes the product to not last very long. This is a packaging issue which I hope you will investigate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loved the Auto toilet blow cleaner until problems We loved this toilet bowl cleaning tablet until we had one gasket start leaking and then noticed deteriorated gasket parts in other toilets ( black crumbs). We need to have all gaskets and seals replaced to avoid costly leaks in the future by what we have read here. The tablets do a great job cleaning but seem to be destructive over time. Too bad. We were very pleased until now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lousy Quality Control Bought a 2pk of tablets today for insertion after cleaning the toilets, but when opening each package, I got nothing but a bunch of crumbled white pieces instead of a solid tablet in each package. I've purchased generic type tablets at Wal-Mart and have never had this problem, so when these are gone, I'll stick with what works (I'd expect better quality control for the price of a two pack, which is $7.60 including sales tax).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from STAY CLEAR... Ruined my toilet... DO NOT BUY... I purchased for a toilet, cleaned fair... Rated 1 out of 5 by from It will damage your toilet! Initially I thought this product was great. Clean toilet with no work. The only objection initially was that chlorine smell was a sometimes noticeable. However, after 6 months of use, the toilet started leaking. Turns out the tablet had been disintegrating rubber and plastic parts in the tank, eventually creating a leak. I am very unhappy and disappointed. The company is clearly aware of this problem, yet they continue selling the product and not even providing a warning on the package.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toilet Bowl Cleaner Creates Stains Our two toilets are about 5 years old. We started using the toilet bowl tablets about 18 months ago. Over the past several months we're now experiencing dark stain lines running from the rim to the water line. I've tried a number of products but can't get rid of the stains. Still looking for a solution other than replacing the toilets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inexpensive tablets cost me big bucks I bought the Clorox toilet tablets and do like the cleaning action, however I did not expect to have to replace the whole inside of two toilets. Really, really upset about this. The parts just disintegrated because of the bleach. Big repair bill!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product ruins your toilet While I am sure this product sanitizes nicely, it ruins toilets by rotting any rubber in tank. It also voids the warranty for new toilets; at least it does for my new Kohler.
