What Others Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless Unless you want the inside of your toilet tank to look like a Smurf murder scene when you, inevitably, have to scrub/pull out a blob of blue goo that did not dissolve - I would avoid the product at all costs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid We put 4 of these into our toilets about a month ago and now all 4 toilets are barely flushing. I have to use a plunger to get them cleared nearly after every flush. I am not attempting to remove the blue goo that remains in each tank, its a disaster. Avoid at all costs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TEERIBLE The worst ever. Smells like going into a stadium urinal. Do not buy. The regular Clorox tab is great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrapper Doesn't dissolve I've used these tablets for years but Clorox decided to wrap them in a paper that is supposed to dissolve in water. Since doing this the tablets became a huge problem. The paper doesn't dissolve in water and it forms blobs in the tank which can also clog the water holes in your toilet. It also clogs the flapper and causes leakage or makes it hard to flush. These blobs never existed before they started using the paper wrapping. All of the negative things that you read about this product are because of the wrapping. Customers need to wear rubber gloves and remove the inside wrapper after cutting open the bag. Beyond that, simply install it as directed, ie in minimal water after flushing so you don't splash it on yourself. I have been perfectly satisfied with this product prior to them using wrappers and also since I started removing the wrapper. Dear "The Clorox Team," Please tell your corporate masters to stop using the inner paper wrappers and then you will get good reviews from other people.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined my toilet bowl I hire a cleaning company to clean our Airbnb. About three months ago they put the tabs in the tanks at our home. After two weeks I was in town and there were streaks stained into our toilet. We are now months later and the blue is less prominent and instead it’s a grey green color ring+streaks. To prevent bad reviews we have to replace this toilet. Ours is a luxury stay unit. Not only am I never buying this again if I had the energy we would be asking for your help to replace the toilet. HORRIBLE PRODUCT

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete Failure of a Product I don’t know how this product passed inspection and testing. It does the opposite of cleaning. It left yellowish rings in my toilet, and didn’t help to keep it clean like the other Clorox products. In fact, I had to use spray bleach to clean the rings out from the toilet. Who made this stuff!!??! This is insulting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish I would’ve read the reviews I bought this product an it work for about a week. Now just like so many, I have a blue blob in my tank I tried to break it up to see if that would help but it just goes back to a blue blob. I bought a twin pack an now I’m not so sure I wanna use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caused our flapper to not work. Had to remove. I put this in exactly as directed. Within hours our flapper would no longer close and had to be manually pushed down to stop the water from running. We replaced the flapper thinking it might be, same thing happened! Finally removed the blue blob from the tank and guess what? Our flapper works again! Useless product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Got the Blue Blob too, but smells good I also have the Blue Blob and I have no idea how or what to use to get this mess out? I'd love to know some suggestions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turned into a blob of slime and sat in tank So not only did this not do the typical "turn the water blue, make it smell good and stay clean" thing it's supposed to do, but it turned into a blob of slime in the toilet tank and I'm not sure how to get it out now. Lovely. And the phone number they keep providing everyone doesn't work at it's only 330pm in the middle of the week. So disappointed, will not buy again and will be warning all my friends and family about the defective product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I have a foreign creature named the Blue Blob sitting in the back of my toilet. It’s pretty disgusting and honestly I have no idea how to remove it. I still have 3 more pods to use and quite frankly, they’ll be trashed. Would absolutely love my money back for this waste of money product. Wish I would have read reviews before purchasing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Messy clogs up in back of toilet I bought this hoping to help keep toilet clean but the blue tab eventually clumps up in toilet bowl and does not work anymore. When you stir it up in back it comes out clumpy and leaves blue spots in toilet. Not happy and will not buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blue gel I brought these for 3 toilets bleach and blue were fine although I didn’t notice the scent that was advertised, when I noticed the blue fading I looked to replace and found a gigantic blue gel in each bu the flap, my toilets are high end and i hope this dissipates if not I will have to drain them and clean them all out by hand, it’s been 3 months and it’s not going away. How do you correct the problem, I would like for you to pay to have this residue removed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally Worthless I have used for two weeks... All it has done is cause a more pronounced ring around my toilet because it is dyed blue. Have used the other Clorox tablets in the past with great results but gave this a try because it said it would last 4 months. Not even close!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst product Clorox Bleach & Blue is worthless and then some. Our toilet tank was clean but with a bleach & blue tablet in it's water, yes the toilet bowl was a pretty blue, but it grew "algae stuff" in the tank that went into the bowl. Gross!! Forget the sanitary and deodorizing promise. No such thing. Horrible, horrible useless product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work at all I typically buy the basic one and it does great. I thought this one would be even better, buy boy was I wrong. Only a week after cleaning and adding this both toilets were obviously dirty. The water turned blue for the fist week or so then a pale blue and in less then a month the water was light green and to toilets smelles worse then ever and look just as bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money! It was fine until the bleach portion dissolved and we were left with a blob of blue gel in the tank. I first noticed when the water stopped turning blue and a brownish stain appeared in all three of our toilet bowls. Opened the tank and found the blue blob along with brown/gray goo (mold?) around the water line and components. Never had this problem before buying this product. Clorox should send a refund to everyone that purchased this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again! The tablet does not dissolve, but turns into a blob of goo, in the bottom of the tank. (I accidentally posted this on another product, also. sorry)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work! Bought the bleach & blue tablets a couple of weeks ago and am very disappointed. I read the instructions before using, cleaned the toilet, flushed, dropped the tablet in the tank near side wall. It's a toilet I use every day. And in about 3 days, it looked dirty again and needed to be cleaned BY ME! Wondered if it was a fluke, but no. After I cleaned the toilet by hand, I watched for it and in a few more days, the toilet looked dirty again. I'm a normal person in good health. The tablet certainly turned the water blue but does NOT clean anything, except maybe my wallet. Will not purchase again and will tell others not to bother with this poorly made product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Procter & Gamble you owe me a toilet This product has turned in to gel in my toilet and impossible to get out. The porcelain is stained blue and to top it off my toilet still gets mildew growing in it. Do not use this. It should be pulled from the shelves for defect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ruined toilets in new home Horrible. My husband bought these and put them in the toilets in our master bath, and guest powder room. He continued to replaced them several times, until I threw the package away, even though there were more in it. They stained the toilet seat and lid with blue spots where the effected water splashed when flushed. Now, we have to replace both seats and lids. We stopped using hem months ago. Recently, the master bath toilet has been difficult to flush. It is hard to push the handle down. Also, when it does flush, the holes under the rim seam partially blocked, because the water shoots out crooked now. There is also a horribly toxic smell coming from the water closet, even though everything has been cleaned throughly, and also looks clean. I just lifted the lid to investigate. I am horrified to see a large nasty blue blob in the bottom of the right side of the tank that has migrated to the flushing valve, causing it to stick together, making it hard to flush. More horrifying is the fact that the blue blob has turned black in some places. It looks like it is turning into mold!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yes, this is for Clorox Automatic Toilet Bowl I bought this about 2 months ago. Seemed to work at first, then the commode started building residue around the bowl water line and up under the rim. We used a brush to clean these areas. The same thing happened. My husband took off the lid and WOW, there is a large gob of the pod that just melted. How do we get out this stuff? Please respond, we're concerned it'll ruin our commode parts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disolved in 2 days I purchased this through Quill for my office restroom. When I placed it in the tank, a few hours later blue chunks were coming into bowl with water when flushed. I lifted the tank lid to find that the blue was completely gone and the white was just a gooey blob that was clogging the refill hole for the bowl. There was also a blue stain where the water line is in tank, and on toilet seat as well. I will NOT use this product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly, it did not work as described. I'm not one to run anyone's reputation through the mud. Thustly, I've done my research before opting to post my review. It is negative due to the fact that this "toilet bowl cleaner" has provided MORE work for me than it releaved me of any. There are only 2 adults in the home. I customarily clean my bathroom weekly. But since we commenced utilizing the tablets. I've found myself returning to clean 2, maybe 3 times a week since the product is leaving dark marks anywhere it physically contacts the water line. It will scrub clean fine. But I NEVER experienced build up like this before the tablets were introduced. So all in all, were waiting for the tablet to dissolve and we won't be purchasing them again. I would much rather keep my interaction with the toilet brush to weekly! I am cognizant of other people who have suffered similar issues, and have optically discerned this verbally expressed by other consumers online as well. No abhorrence on Clorox's part. Just very unsatisfied with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from College Students Need this I'm a college student and will be the first to admit that I don't clean my bathroom very often so this is a great thing to have! I just went to replace my first tab and there's a big blue blob in my toilet back? Is this supposed to happen? Other than this its great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish it had a stronger scent You can only really smell the scent when the water has been sitting overnight. However, it does keep the bad scents that tend to come with bathrooms in humid areas at bay. It also prevents the buildup where the water ring is. I honestly haven't had to clean the inside of my toilet bowl in a while- it's still sparkling. It lasts a good while. The color will stick to the toilet bowl if you leave it in for over a day- but the directions do say that the toilet you're putting it into should be flushed daily, so don't say they didn't warn you! Overall, I will be buying this again. :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware I LOVE Clorox products and have always used the toilet bleach tablets so I thought I'd give these a try to see if the bleach scent was a little lighter. I wish I would have NEVER tried these!! I have noticed no appreciative cleansing from this product. The only thing it has accomplished is staining my toilet seat. The underside is blue speckled and it WON"T clean off. These tablets stain BADLY. I now am forced to spend $30.00 + to replace the toilet seat. I removed the messy gel tablet from the tank and will NEVER purchase these again. if your toilet has a strong aware you will have blue stains on everything!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless It turns the water blue. That's all it does. Seems to speed up the need to clean the toilet. I'm back to 2000 Flushes. Waste of money.
