Clorox™ Disinfecting Bleach and Performance Bleach are both formulated with CLOROMAX™ Technology, a patented polymer that forms an invisible barrier on hard surfaces to help repel stains and make cleaning quicker and easier. The formula is EPA-registered and safe when used as directed, including on food-contact surfaces and in health-sensitive environments.
The efficacy of CLOROMAX™ Technology will vary based on the surface, soil, environment and time elapsed since application. CLOROMAX™ Technology provides maximum benefit when used as directed consistently and repeatedly on a surface. Clorox recommends a minimum of 3–5 consecutive applications to promote the easier cleaning benefit. Do not use other cleaners in between bleach surface treatments, as they may remove the CLOROMAX™ protective layer.
