Adult (n): A person who is fully grown or developed.
Ok, but where’s the step-by-step handbook? We’re certainly not in Kansas (or in college) anymore, and paying bills, getting to work on time and being on your own isn’t exactly the easiest adjustment for everyone.
One small and easy activity that goes an incredibly long way? Keeping your grown-up pad in tip top shape with some TLC and a cleaning routine that will fit seamlessly into your busy day-to-day life.
Yes, you have to clean up your messes yourself, on your own, individually. No, it’s really not that hard. We promise.
Read on for helpful tips on cleaning with bleach from a few of our favorite bloggers… For those of you who are still getting a hang of this whole “adulting” gig.
The Confused Millennial: Grout Greatness
“Grout: True story, E and I thought our last apartment had black mold and that we were going to die. But it was just mildew and we were fine.
I mixed 1/2 cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach1 with 1 gallon of water and filled a spray bottle with it. I sprayed all the grout, then covered it with plastic wrap and let it sit for 12 hours (because it was that bad, this isn’t necessary though), and then I just rinsed and had white and clean grout again!
Totally recommend getting in the habit of spraying down your shower grout once a month to keep it fresh!”

Gen Y Girl: Totally TUBular
“I think it probably goes without saying, but my bathroom is my least favorite room to clean. I mean, I’m not a terribly filthy person, but man, my bathroom just seems to get super dirty, really fast.
Use a 1/2 cup of Clorox® Regular-Bleach1 in 1 gallon of water and apply the solution to your tub, toilet and sink for a good 5–10 minutes. After that, rinse and clean with water and let it all dry.”

The Millennial Miss: Bringing Sexy Clean Back
“A part of adulthood is being man, or woman, enough to clean up after yourself because life is messy enough, your apartment doesn’t need to be too. Without fail, I have a date with cleaning products every Sunday night. Sexy, huh?
Clorox® Regular-Bleach1 is as easy and cost-efficient as cleaning products get. No matter what the scenario; cleaning up after a girl’s night with wine flowing or when bae brings home chocolate and I forget to wash my hands before touching the cabinets — Clorox is there to do the dirty work.”
— Chelsea Briche, The Millennial Miss
While we advance through the many stages of life and adulthood, two things are for certain: Clorox® Regular-Bleach1 will always have your back in the face of a mess, and you do have to be an adult to use it.
