Don't make it weird.
We parents occasionally have unusual encounters with others when we're out and about with our family's newest drooling edition. Some people can be a bit conversationally nervous around infants and put their foot in their mouth, or they're the opposite of nervous and creepily put your baby's foot in their mouth. Like literally.
It's not just people who don't have kids, really. It seems ANYONE can suffer from idiotic social ineptitude when they see a wiggling bundle of giggles in someone's arms and their brain seems to turn into a box of microwaved crayons.
Have a look at some of these examples, and see if you can remember some of the wildly rude or weird crap you've heard come out of someone's mouth about your baby.
