Don't let these stain on your parade.

1. Coffee. Whether you like a Regular Joe or a lavish latte, spilling the beans on yourself can ruin your day. Here’s a Clorox® myStain™ App pro-tip for coffee: Avoid using bar soap on your stain — it could cause it to set.

2. Cranberries. ’Tis the season for a dark red splotch on your crotch — or your “fancy” tablecloth. Start tackling it by rinsing with cold water and applying a Clorox® Bleach Gel Pen to whites, or Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster to colors.

3. Makeup. No need to make up an excuse for makeup stains. Start scraping excess makeup from clothing and then pre-treat with liquid laundry detergent or dish soap.

4. Mustard. Bright, tarty and delicious — and leaves a permanent stain if you don’t get to it fast. Quickly blot away and rinse in cool water as soon as possible.

5. Sweat. Go ahead and sweat it. We’re all human. And when it comes time to put it in the wash, set it on the hottest setting and add ½ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 to whites, Clorox Smart Seek™ Bleach to whites with color, or ½ cup Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster to colors.

6. Wine. Here’s a Clorox® myStain™ App tip to help you escape the grape disaster, and the wrath of your host: Remove the excess wine then spray Clorox® Clean-up® Cleaner + Bleach 4–6 inches from the surface. Get it nice and wet and make 30 seconds of awkward conversation to let it do its thing.

7. Soy Sauce. You ordered in and got more soy than joy. No worries — take out that take-out stain with Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 for whites, and Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster for colors.

8. Ink. If it’s not on the page, it’s probably a stain. If you want to keep it from spreading, pre-treat with a solvent and rub in a little hand sanitizer from the other side. Then blot the stain to lift the ink.

9. Lipstick. Your lips may have been sealed, but that stain is telling a different story. To remove lipstick form hard surfaces, wipe clean with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes. If you get lipstick on your clothes, you can prevent the stain from setting by spritzing with hairspray.

10. Dirt. Some might call it the OG stain. If a regular ’ol wash doesn’t do the trick, you might need to try pre-soaking your dirty whites and colors in warm water and powder detergent for at least an hour.
