Removing egg stains from whites and colors
One
Scrape
Scrape or brush off excess egg particles, and rinse out the stain with cold water.

Pre-Soak
Pre-soak garment in cold water for at least 30 minutes with a laundry detergent that contains enzymes.
Three
Wash
Wash as usual in cool water with detergent and ½ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX® to whites or Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster to colors.
Four
Dry
Repeat as necessary and check for success before machine drying. Be thankful it wasn’t bacon.
Tip
Pre-soaking in cool water is essential because hot water could cook the egg protein and set the stain.
Removing egg from surfaces
Two
Spray
To clean and disinfect: Spray 4–6 inches from surface until wet thoroughly. Let stand 30 seconds.
Three
Rinse
Rinse or wipe clean.
