Removing urine stains from whites and colors

Prepare
Give your childcare provider a box of small-sized trash bags they can use to bag wet sheets and clothing.
Two
Wash
Wash cotton or poly-cotton blend white sheets on a hot water cycle with detergent and ½ cup Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX®.
Three
Dry
Before drying, make sure that the stain is gone. Repeat wash if necessary.
Four
Sanitize
Time to wash the washer. Run it on a clean-out cycle with ½ cup bleach.

Keep extra clothing that your child likes at daycare for a quick change.
Removing urine stains from surfaces
Two
Spray
Spray directly onto stain until completely covered. For tough stains, wait 5 minutes before rinsing.
Three
Rinse
Urine the clear. Rinse with water or wipe with a clean, damp cloth. For painted surfaces, test for colorfastness before use. Not recommended for brass or natural marble.
