How Do You Get Permanent Marker Out Of Pink Pants?
Q: How Do You Get Permanent Marker Out Of Pink Pants?
A: While regular marker stains can be easily removed by pretreating with liquid Clorox2® before washing, permanent marker stains are just that, permanent! Just in case you end up with a non-permanent marker stain in the future, here’s how you treat it:
- apply liquid Clorox2® directly to the stain and gently rub it in.
- wait 5-10 minutes, then wash in the warmest water recommended on the garment’s care label using detergent and more Clorox2®.
- air dry and check for success—keep the item out of the dryer until the stain is all the way out.
- if the stain is super concentrated (a bleeding pen leaves a big stain, more work to remove than if you accidentally mark something) you can repeat the treatment until you are successful.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful as far as permanent marker stains go. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks for writing.
