Removing Stains

Tea

See a spot of tea?
Removing tea stains from whites and colors
One
Rinse
Hot tea calls for a cold rinse. Just make sure you rinse from the back of the garment to prevent the stain from sinking in.
Two
Pre-Treat
Use a Clorox® Bleach Pen Gel to pre-treat whites and Clorox® Stain Remover & Color Booster for colors.
Three
Soak
Let the garment soak in cool water and wait for a few minutes. Just think, it’s sort of like steeping, but hopefully this time you’ll walk away unstained.
Four
Wash
Throw the garment in the wash with your favorite detergent and wash it on the hottest recommended setting. Make sure you’ve got the stain out before letting it dry.
Tip
Spray
In a pinch? Make a quick vinegar solution (1 tsp. vinegar in 1 quart of water) and spray the stain. Let it sit for ten minutes, then blot, rinse and wash.
