Cooking Oil

Taste Your Food, Don't Wear It
Removing cooking oil stains from whites and colors
One
Pre-Treat
Apply liquid detergent to the stain, rub it in, wait 5 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
Two
Wash
Use the hottest setting recommended with regular detergent. For white, bleachable items without spandex, add ½ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach1. For other items, use regular detergent and Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster.
Three
Dry
Air-dry and then check for success.
Four
Repeat
Stains that have sat for days before washing may need a second treatment for complete removal.
Tip
Check
Start by checking care labels. Avoid bleaching wool, silk, mohair, leather and any item containing spandex.
