

Q. Can I use other cleaners in my Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System?
A. No. ReadyMop® Floor Cleaners are special, no-mixing, no-rinsing solutions for use with the Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System. Use of any other cleaning solution may cause clogging or other damage to the Mopping System and may void your warranty.
Q. On what surfaces can I safely use my Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System?
A. The Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System is designed for use on tile, vinyl, linoleum, laminate, finished and sealed wood floors. Not recommended for use on visibly worn, unfinished, unsealed, waxed or oiled wood floors. Safe to use on colored surfaces. If you are unsure about whether or not to use the ReadyMop® on a particular surface, test it on a small inconspicuous area before cleaning your entire floor.
Q. Does Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System reach to clean tight places?
A. The Clorox® ReadyMop® maneuvers to clean the hard-to-reach places where dirt hides. The Clorox® ReadyMop® fits under places like low tables and chairs and under stoves and cabinets and cleans tight places like behind the toilet and in corners.
Q. Will one Absorbent Cleaning Pad clean an entire house?
A. Each Absorbent Cleaning Pad will clean a medium to large size kitchen and small bathroom.
Q. Can the Clorox® ReadyMop® Advanced Floor Cleaner be used in homes with children and pets?
A. The Advanced Floor Cleaner can be used to clean areas frequented by children or pets. As with all cleaning products, the Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System should be kept out of the reach of children. Remove children and pets from area while mopping and until dry.
Q. Can the Absorbent Cleaning Pads be washed and reused?
A. No. We recommend that the pads be used only once and then disposed of in the trash.
Q. Will the Advanced Floor Cleaner leave a visible residue?
A. No. The Advanced Floor Cleaner has been optimized for low residue and does not require a rinse.
Q. Is there a warranty for this product? If it breaks, do I have to buy a whole new one?
A. The Clorox Company warrants the Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System for one year from the date of purchase against all defects in materials and craftsmanship when used in compliance with the Instructions for Use manual. If for any reason the product proves to be defective, Clorox Consumer Services will, at their discretion, replace the defective part or entire product free of charge.
Q. What do I do if little or no cleaner comes out when I pull the trigger?
A. When you first attach a new bottle of floor cleaner to the mop, you may have to pull the trigger several times to begin the flow of the cleaner through the nozzle. If the problem persists, check to make sure that all of the pieces of the mop are tightly assembled and that the cleaner bottle is clicked into place in the bottle holder. Also, make sure that the nozzle has been properly threaded through the opening in the mop head and is clicked securely in place on the front of the mop head. Finally, check to see if the pad is blocking the nozzle, and make sure the cleaner bottle is not empty.
Q. What should I do if my mop leaks?
A. Check to see that the bottle connector is screwed on tightly to the bottle. Also make sure that the pad is not blocking the nozzle and that the nozzle is clicked securely in place on the front of the mop head.
Q. How much cleaner should I use? How long will one bottle of cleaner last?
A. One of the special features of the Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System is that the trigger allows you to control the amount of cleaner you use on your floors. For tough stains, use more cleaner and allow it to sit on the stain for a few seconds before mopping. Under normal usage conditions, each 24 oz. bottle of Floor Cleaner should last between 2 to 3 months.
Q. Does the Advanced Floor Cleaner contain bleach?
A. No. The Advanced Floor Cleaner does not contain bleach and is safe to use on colored surfaces.
Q. How often should I change the Absorbent Cleaning Pads?
A. For best results, we recommend that you start with a fresh new Absorbent Cleaning Pad before each cleaning.
Q. How do I store my Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System? Can I leave a full bottle of Advanced Floor Cleaner in the mop?
A. You may store the mop with the Advanced Floor Cleaner attached so you are always ready to go. The small hole on the top of the handle is designed for hanging the Clorox® ReadyMop® Mopping System.
