How to Make a Dream Mobile

Materials: 2 sticks, approximately 10" long. They could be dowel sticks, chop sticks or sticks found outside.; 5 pieces of string or yarn or ribbon cut approximately 15" long; 1 chenille wire to lash the sticks together; 5 objects of similar weight to represent your desired dream. Add more if you wish!
Instructions

1. First design your dream… Will it be a dream of underwater exploration or vacationing on a tropical island or performing on Broadway or Olympic victory? Or something else entirely?

2. Find or create five symbols to represent your chosen dream. For example, a cotton ball could represent snow or a cloud or a rabbit’s tail; a feather could represent flight or laughter; a paper cut-out of a lightning bolt could represent speed or an idea!

3. Lash the two sticks together with chenille wire so that they form an "X."

4. Tie strings at mid point and at the ends of each stick.

5. Hang the objects from the string keeping the idea of balance in mind.

6. Hang in your bedroom.
