The care label of this garment states "no bleach." Can Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray be used on such a garment?
We would recommend testing for colorfastness first by applying Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray to a hidden area of the garment and waiting for 10 minutes. Rinse and let dry. The garment is safe for product use if color does not fade or bleed. Always read and follow precautions and usage directions before using cleaning products. Always store cleaning products out of reach of children.

Is Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray safe on nylon, silk or wool?
We would not recommend using Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray on nylon, silk or wool. If in doubt about a garment, please use the colorfastness test described on the label. Always read and follow precautions and usage directions before using cleaning products. Always store cleaning products out of reach of children.

Can I use Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray as a pre-soak?
We do not have pre-soak instructions on the Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray. However, Clorox 2® Stain Fighter and Color Booster may be used for pre-soaking garments. When soaking colored fabrics in Clorox 2® Stain Fighter and Color Booster, we recommend that you sort loads by color to minimize problems, and check for colorfastness if uncertain before soaking. To pre-soak, fill cap to line 1 with Clorox 2® Stain Fighter and Color Booster and add to 2 gallons of water (hottest water that garment label states), let pre-soak for 30 minutes for dark and bright colors or 1-8 hours for whites and follow with normal wash. Clorox 2® Stain Fighter and Color Booster may also be used as a pre-treatment directly on stains or soils, followed by prompt machine-washing. Always read and follow precautions and usage directions before using cleaning products.

Is Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray the same as adding Clorox 2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster to a trigger spray bottle?
No, Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray is NOT the same as adding Clorox 2® Stain Fighter and Color Booster to a trigger spray bottle. Clorox 2 Laundry Stain Remover is specially formulated for use in a trigger spray bottle. Adding Clorox 2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster to the trigger spray bottle may cause it to lose its efficacy and may cause the container to leak or rupture over time.

Can I pour Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover spray directly into my wash?
Clorox 2® Laundry Stain Remover is best used as a pretreatment applied directly to stains in conjunction with Clorox 2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster and your favorite detergent. What types of fabrics/carpets can this product be used on? Can I use this on my countertops?
This product is safe to use on most fabrics and surfaces with the exception of silk, wool or leather. We recommend testing for colorfastness if you are uncertain. Does this product work as well on set/older stains (vs. fresh stains)?
This product will work on both fresh stains and older stains. Older stains may require more applications. No product removes all stains — some set in stains are impossible to remove.

What happens if the product dries on fabrics?

Why should I use the Clorox 2® Stain Fighter Pen?
The Clorox 2® Stain Fighter Pen allows precision control to pre-treat tough stains on colored fabrics and complements Clorox 2® Stain Fighter & Color Booster as the through-the-wash stain fighter for overall stain fighting.

Is the Clorox 2® Pen safe on all fabrics?
The Clorox 2® Pen is not recommended for use on dry-clean only fabrics such as wool, silk, linen, mohair, leather and spandex. If in doubt about colorfastness, apply a small amount of product onto hidden seam. Rinse and let dry. If no color change, then use as directed.

Can I use the Clorox 2® Pen “on the go”?
The Clorox 2® pen is designed to be a laundry pre-treater specially formulated for colors. We do not recommend “on the go” usage.

Can I use the Clorox 2® pen to pre-treat stains on my white laundry?
While Clorox 2® Stain Fighter Pen will work on whites, it is specially formulated for colors. We recommend Clorox® Bleach Pen for pre-treating stains on white laundry.

I have a High Efficiency (front loading) washing machine — can I use Clorox 2® Pen to pre-treat before placing my clothing in a High Efficiency machine?
The Clorox 2® pen can be used with both standard and HE washing machines.
