Lipstick

Kiss lipstick stains goodbye with these easy tips.

Removing lipstick stains from whites

  • On the go

    • Some people swear by hairspray to remove lipstick. Liberally spritz the affected area to prevent stain from setting. Afterwards, blot away excess hairspray, being careful not to spread the stain.
  • At home

    • Place a clean, dry cloth on the front of the stain, then dab (don’t rub) the back of the stain with dish soap on a damp cloth. Be careful not to transfer lipstick back onto garment. Wash on the hottest recommended water setting with regular detergent and Clorox® Regular-Bleach for whites. Repeat as needed, and make sure to check garment before drying.
