Removing blood stains from whites

On the go 

If you’re out and about, quickly rinse out stain with cold water.

Tip: Use a little saliva to help break up stain.

At home

Hot water will set the stain, so presoak in cold water for at least 30 minutes with laundry detergent. Rinse and repeat until stain disappears. Then launder as usual with your favorite detergent and Clorox® Regular-Bleach for white loads in cold water.

For stained items that are colored

1. Apply liquid Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster and rub into the stain.

2. Wait 3–5 minutes, then wash immediately in hottest water recommended on the care label using detergent and Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster.

3. Air dry and check for success. If residual stain remains, repeat the treatment.
